Our Welcoming Parish
Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, South Lismore is a welcoming Catholic faith community within the Diocese of Lismore, centred on prayer, worship, service and fellowship. Located in the heart of South Lismore, our parish has been a place of faith and community life for generations, serving the people of the district since the church was established in the early 1940s.
Inspired by the example and patronage of Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians, we strive to share the love of Christ through the celebration of the Eucharist, the sacraments, faith formation and pastoral care. Our parish embraces people of all ages, backgrounds and stages of life, offering a place where all are welcome to encounter God, grow in faith and build meaningful relationships.
We are proud of our close connection with Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School and the wider Catholic community of the Richmond region. Together, we nurture faith, support families and encourage active participation in the life and mission of the Church.
Whether you are a long-time parishioner, new to the area, or simply seeking a spiritual home, we invite you to join us as we celebrate God's presence among us and share His hope, mercy and love with our community
