Catenian Northern Rivers Group
The Catenians are locally represented by Northern Rivers Group 946, part of the international fraternity of Catholic men. Each local Catentian Circle provides a varied social program for all ages. They meet monthly and arrange activities for their members and families: meals together, barbecues, coffee mornings, picnics, walking groups, golf, visits to the theatre and sporting events are all popular. They provide friendship, advice, opportunities, care, a listening ear, and if necessary, financial support.
They meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 5.45pm for meeting at 6.15pm at the Alstonville Plateau Bowls & Sports Club, 10 Deegan Drive, Alstonville NSW 2477.

Vinnies (the St Vincent DePaul Society)
Vinnies in Lismore provides local emergency relief, including assistance with food, clothing, essential household goods, and utility bills. They also offer crisis support, disaster recovery, and operate a local op shop to fund community care. St Vincent's Hospital Lismore
The Friends of St Vincent's in Lismore is a dedicated volunteer organisation that enhances patient and resident care at St Vincent's Private Hospital and St Joseph's Aged Care Facility. They offer hands-on support, ward assistance, grounds transport, and fundraising initiatives. The also have a Catholic Gift & Book shop located on Avondale Street Lismore. Carmelite Missionaries
The Carmelite Missionaries are consecrated women religious founded by Blessed Francisco Palau, OCD (Order of Carmelite Discalced), who are called to live a deep love for God and the Church through prayer, contemplation, communion and mission. Inspired by the spirituality of Carmel, they seek to discover Christ in every person and make His love present through service. Established in the Diocese of Lismore on 1st October 2019, their community continues to accompany and serve God’s people through pastoral, catechetical and health care ministries, formation and outreach activities. We are blessed to have the Carmelite Missionaries serving in the parish.

Mary of the Angelus Community
Mary of the Angelus Community, founded in 1996 by Fr Vince Doyle and Valerie Murphy in the Diocese of Lismore, is a Catholic community of prayer and outreach. Approved in 2013 by Bishop Geoffrey Jarrett as a Lay Association of Christ’s Faithful, our mission is to share God’s healing, mercy and compassion through prayer and practical service. Supported by volunteers, our outreach provides safe accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness.

St Alphonsa Syro Malabar Catholic Parish
St Alphonsa Parish extends its mission beyond Brisbane by regularly celebrating the Syro-Malabar Holy Qurbana for the growing Indian Catholic community in Lismore. Through this outreach, the parish nurtures faith, cultural identity and spiritual belonging, ensuring families can worship according to their Eastern Catholic traditions while remaining fully united with the wider Catholic Church.
This mass can be attended at 6pm, the first Tuesday of every month.
